You say festival style wedding. I say tell me when and where!
Katy and Joe got in contact after seeing the images from a previous clients wedding that they knew from a while back. Word of mouth recommendations are the best, so if you do know someone that's engaged/planning a wedding then let them know about me.
Katy and Joe's day was a day of two halves when it comes to the style. Traditional white dress and bow tie DJs in a church followed by a relaxed, pizza fuelled festival style wedding at Joe's parents house around the corner.
Luckily, we'd already spent some time together a their pre-wedding shoot at Rushmere Park so they were more than comfortable in front of the camera and knew what to expect. The day itself was fairly relaxed, all the way from bridal prep to the beginnings of the party. As you can see from the selection of images below from their day, it doesn't matter if you're at a grand country hotel, or in a garden, as long as you get the right photographer, you'll end with some banging photos. My favourites are the couple's portraits - sophisticated and timeless. And taken on the sweeping driveway of the house!
More festival weddings please!
Congratulations Katy & Joe!
