Marylebone, Chelsea, Islington. They all have one thing in common - beautiful town halls where you can get married! And if you're in or close to London and want an intimate venue with secret spots for couple portraits, then Islington Town Hall is a perfect choice.
Nestled in North London, on a bustling high street, the town hall had a number of rooms for ceremonies. Thankfully, Alice & Zan had secured the larger council chamber, with it's panelling and ornate stained glass windows.
Alice said they were drawn to the warmer tones in my images, especially those of the wedding captured at Cliveden House. And the interior of the town hall made that request easy to fulfil. Style is a very important consideration when choosing your wedding photographer but bear in mind your chosen location/venue may not be conducive to for achieving the look you've been curating on Pinterest.
Alice and Zan found me via a mutual acquaintance - who doesn't love a word of mouth referral? Sometimes this is the best option when beginning your search for an Islington Town Hall wedding photographer.
Their ceremony was the last of the day, but the summer evening meant we had plenty of time for group shots and couple's portraits inside and outside of the town hall. But the sunshine wasn't to last, and the walk up to their reception venue was a bit wet - hence the duck in to the Sainsbury's when the heavens really opened.
It was an absolute pleasure to capture their day and spend time the afternoon with them. And grateful to be able to tick one of the London town halls off my list.
Congratulations Alice & Zan.
